It's late at night, and the construction workers are still working. They find a coffin in the ground, and a second one in the courtyard. They're worried that something is going to go wrong, and they're going to have to finish the job before it's over. They can't find the woman, because she looks exactly the same as she did when she was little. The jade merchant tells the boy that he sells all the good quality jade in the area, and that it can ward off evil. The boy asks if he knows why there are so many jade stores, and he says that there's a saying that says a gentleman with good quality can avoid misfortune. He says that he doesn't know, because he's not sure if jade has that power. He asks the boy to look at the box, and it seems like someone's pressing the lid on it. The box is filled with eight spooky men.
