When the cat wakes up, he's shocked to find that the monster is in his room. He can't figure out what's going on. He's also worried that his mom has somehow caused the mess. The monster tells him that the most frightening thing about witches is that they produce poisonous insects, which cause suffering to the people around them. He tells the cat that he'll never have a family with the monster, because he was the one who injured the cat.
