In this chapter, we learn that Caius, Anderson, anderson are all on Caius's team. Caius asks if she really deserves the title of grand chef, and Caius answers that she does, but that she is not prepared to satisfy all the other chefs at the dinner party that evening. The conversation moves to the question of whether or not Caius should hire someone to serve as his "sous-chef." Caius says that he would like to hire a famous chef like Morton because he thinks that Morton will be very popular for a long time to come.
