"I'm going to die this time" . That's what little sunshine says when he hears that his mom is bleeding. He's so upset that he begs his dad to stop beating his mom. He doesn't want to die, but he does want to run away with his dad so that they can have a new life together. Little sunshine says that he's sorry that he fought for a coward like his dad. He feels like he deserves him. He says that if their love is always hurt like this, he'd rather have it not at all. He asks his dad if they can run away together to a place where they don't have to fight each other. He wants his mom and dad to go for good. He hates his dad and his little dog. He tells his mom that he was too afraid of his dad when he was younger. He begs his mom not to leave him alone with her dad, and he tells his dog to drive faster so that he can die.
