The chapter ends with a kiss between Ani and Huck. Ani asks Huck what he's doing for summer break, and Huck tells her that he'll be taking his guitar to the studio to play with his band during the break. Ani tells Huck that she doesn't know what Huck is talking about, but she's glad that he sent her a message, because she'd like to see what Huck's girlfriend looks like. She asks Huck if he has anything to drink, and he says that he hasn't, because he'd rather watch himself on a big screen than drink himself to death. Ani says that Huck has been turning down her invitations to go drinking, and she thinks that's because Huck is having an affair with his girlfriend. She's jealous of him, and tells Huck to get ready to die alone.
