In this chapter, we learn that taruna kun has not been able to improve his performance in the World Cosplay Competition. This is because he is not strong enough to play the roles he is supposed to play in front of customers at work. He is also not very good at making costumes and making ups. He also does not have enough time to prepare for the competition because he has been working in the cafe all day. He asks his sister to make him a costume, but she does not know how to do so. She tells him that the competition is a "world level competition" and that he should not take it lightly. She also tells us that he already has a girl he likes named mochi2x. She is a cosplayer from Indonesia, and he has come to Japan to win the competition in order to gain her attention. She reminds him of his dream to become a member of the wcc, and she reminds him how much he likes her. She says that seeing him lose his hope of becoming a member is "much more devastating" for him. She asks him to come with her to find out more about the character he is going to play.
