The next morning, shushu wakes up, but he doesn't know what happened the night before. He's not sure if it's because he ate too many mushrooms or if it was because of his nose. He asks shu what happened, and shu says that he didn't sleep at all that night, so he's just tiptoeing around him. He tells shu that he wants to apologize for what he did to him last night, and that's all shu wants to do. shu is so sorry that he can't even remember what happened last night. He says he'll go back to sleep, and they'll be even. He apologizes for being so high-class, and then he says he forgives shu for beating him, too. He admits that he'd rather be with shu than with anyone else, but then he realizes that this isn't shu's intention, either. He wants to be with her forever, he says, and this is what shu asked him to say. The two of them reveal their true feelings to one another.
