About This Chapter
When the waitress arrives at the shop, she asks if the guy is giving her an excuse to go away. The guy says that he's a friend of the girl's, and he wants to hang out with her. The waitress tells him that she's going to take him with her, and the two of them go off to have a drink together. When they get back, the waitress tells the guy that she doesn't want him to be around her anymore, and she tells him not to touch her. He's so freaked out that he tells her to let go of him, and then he tells the girl to drop the "zero" and go with the hero. The girl says that's okay, but the boy is too strong for her, so she tells the boy to "let go" of him. The boy tells her not to worry, and they head off to get some seafood. The waiter tells the waitress that the seafood smells like fish, and that it's way better than the one they're eating. He tells her that if she wants to try it, she should call her aunt, because she'll be able to tell if the girl is zheng-shu's auntie. He says that since he was 3rd grade, he hasn't been able to remember much about his family, but he does remember that they've always been very shy. It's hard to see them like this, he says, because it hurts his feelings. He hopes that the girl will figure out what she means by "violence," and they'll talk about it later.
