The Governess is worried that she has not exercised in a long time. She tells the Governess that she saw Cai Mingyu with a girl in the Infirmary the last time they were together. She asks why she keeps trying to get him to do something for her. He says that he did not do anything for her after all and she is wondering why he keeps looking at her like that. She says that she does not know why she hates him, but that she is being too petty. She then tells him that he has been busy preparing for the Culture Festival and that he is hiding something from her. When he asks her why she has been so busy, she says that a popular person likes her is usually busy and that she feels suspicious. When she asks him what he is doing in the art room, he tells her that he can use his free time to clean up his art tools. He then asks her if she heard that he took part in the relay race. She does not believe him.
