He's also worried that his parents won't be happy if he leaves home alone. Huck asks his father if he'd be lonely if he left home alone, and his father replies that he would be fine on his own. Huck thanks his father for inviting him to a cooking party, and he and Huck prepare a fried shrimp dish. Huck is impressed with the fried shrimp, which he thinks is the best dish he has ever tasted.
