In this chapter, we get a brief glimpse of the relationship between the Governess and her daughter, Tsumugi. The Governess complains to her daughter about her relationship with her father, who she says has been making her so mad lately. She tells her that he still thinks of her as an "elevator school girl" and that she bought him a pair of pants so that he wouldn't have to wear them to school. She says that she doesn't know what to do if he gets mad at her like that, so she'll just blush and forget it. As she's leaving, she asks about her daughter's school and finds out that she seems to be growing up. She's cooking some meat and says that it's hard work, but that she likes to make time-intensive dishes. She takes a picture of the finished product and sends it to her father.
