This chapter's epigraph comes from a conversation between the boss and his men. The boss asks the men if they're there to give him a gift after humiliating him in front of all the people. The men tell him that they are there to kidnap him. They're professional kidnappers, and they want to take his prey away. They tease him about being a bunny boy, and he says that he doesn't care if he's a bunny or not. He wants to know why they don't just fight and decide who's the winner of the lottery. He asks them to come out of the tea party within one minute. Otherwise, he says, they'll fire a bazooka. They hear this and all of a sudden, they realize that they have been surrounded. They can't figure out what's happening. They think that it must be because of their plan to kidnap the bunny boy.
