In this chapter, we learn that Cai's grandfather has been impressed with the way that Cai has grown into a successful businessman, and he has even agreed to marry Cai and have a baby with her. Cai tells us that he and Cai have just been hanging out for a few weeks, and that he's already decided that they don't need to get married, since they're already in love. He also says that he doesn't think Cai needs to think about the baby, since she already has a baby, and she's just trying to have fun with him. Cai asks if it's okay for him to be a special councilor for Bai lian, and Cai says that's a good idea, since it'll help him get to know more people, and the more people he gets in contact with, the more likely he'll be attacked again. He's afraid that someone will attack him again, but he wants to do what he can to protect himself. He invites Cai to join him at the relief center in the g-area, where there is a lot of fighting going on between the poor and the rich. He wants to know what's going on there, so he can figure out a way to stop it.
