When the mayor arrives at the restaurant, he is disappointed to find that the food is not very fancy. He asks the chef to make some radish dumplings, which the mayor has mentioned as one of his favorite dishes. The chef refuses, saying that he is the chef of French cuisine and that he will pay the mayor double for the service. The mayor steps aside to let the chef prepare the dumplings. He wants to see the two of them kiss in front of him, and the chef promises to do so. After the radish dumplings are prepared, the chef mixes the spices with the radishes to create a spicy and sweet filling. He then wraps the dumplings in a batter and then bakes them in a frying pan.
