The hunter who challenged the corpses was a potential carrier of the disease, and those who didn't challenge the corpses became a monster. This is what the director calls his hypothesis. He suggests that more verification needs to be done before he can conclude that there's any truth to his theory. The two men go to the recreation room to see if there are any corpses behind the door. They find a bunch of dead bodies there, and the director asks the mayor if he can talk to the patients as long as he wants. He tells the mayor that this time, he almost exposed the face of the rescue center to Quing's daughter
