Okay, now we're back in the present tense. We're told that the narrator's grandfather wants his family and the Dongmen family to get married, but he won't let it happen. The narrator says that she's in love with lao gong , and she'll keep her decision to herself. She's going to keep her mouth shut about it, though, because she doesn't want her family to know that they're in love. She says that if she keeps making her grandpa hate her, he's just going to force the marriage on lao lao, and that's all she can do. She tells him to stop making him hate her more, because he'll have to force it on her, and then she can be free. Okay, so now we get to the part where the narrator tells her grandpa to come and hate her. He's not going to do that. He says that he hates her too, and he knows that she hates him too, but she says she will behave herself
