The group is gathered in the lobby of the hospital at midnight. They're all there to hang out and have a good time, but they can't seem to figure out what's going on in the hospital. The guy playing the video games outside the window tells them that there's been a fire in the upstairs room, and he's torn the bedsheet to make a rope so he can climb down from the roof. He's just trying to do the right thing, he tells them. He doesn't blame the hospital for what happened, but he blames the people who live in the building for causing all the trouble. He tells them he still has time to tell them a story, and they all stare at him hostilely. Huh? why did the guy hire such a crazy person?
