One year later, the group is gathered at the seashore for the annual shindig. The girls are eager to see each other, and the coach invites them to eat and drink together. As they eat, the girls ask each other questions about the other's lives. The coach tells them that he made a friend in the club, and that he came to the shindig with that friend. He asks the girls if they met the teacher he was talking about, and if they were able to hear the conversation he was having with the girl. He also asks if the girl is okay, and she says that her face is red from the heat. He tells her to put on some cold packs, and they eat together.
