In this short scene, we learn that serpent has released a new weapon, the eagle strike, and that he has a bounty of 10,000 gold on his head. We learn that this is the same weapon that he used to kill a member of the blood rose family, and we also learn that the new weapon is a very old one, a sniper rifle that the empire army uses to kill enemy soldiers. This is the first time that we've heard of this new rifle, and it's exciting to learn that it can be used by the enemy.
