In this chapter, we are introduced to a young man named Linxitang, who has just arrived at the Netherworld Training Camp. He tells us that he is the son of a man who has taken him away from the "eternal night continent" and has left him in the "netherworld world" . He explains that he wants to bring his son back to the eternal night because he wants him to be able to "graduate" from the camp so that he can "see him as my son." He tells the boy that the camp is a place where everyone can go, but that he doesn't want to be a part of it because it's not a place everyone can "go to." He wants his son to know that it is time for him to go back to his own world, and that he will bring him back as his son if he graduates from the training camp.
