In this chapter, we are introduced to a third-person perspective, which allows us to see the inner workings of the vampire's inner circle. We are also introduced to the "mysterious" advisor of the "Serpent Gang" , who is also known as "Lilanzio" . The advisor is a "third-level soldier" who is a member of the expedition army. He is a familiar face to the audience, as he was in the previous chapter when he was captured by the "Eagle Strike" and killed by the vampire. The soldier is described as having an aura of "different aura surrounded him" and he is surrounded by "a different aura" of "grey skin" and "dog smell." The soldier's aura is so strong that he is able to smell the "dog stench" of the wolf's body. He tries to find the wolf first, but the wolf refuses to open the door to him.
