In this chapter, we learn that the red scorpion soldiers are returning from their first combat experience. They've been assigned to a large scale mission involving the blood tribe. This is the first time they've ever been involved in such a large-scale mission, and they're all bummed out. First of all, they don't want to be associated with the "blood tribe" , which is why they fought so hard in the first place. Second, they want to kill all the vampires. Third, they'd rather die than live like a "blood slave" . Fourth, the dark tribe is going to use the results of these experiments to kill the humans in the next war, and the stronger the individual, the greater the consequences. After all, the stronger you are, the more "immeasurable" the consequences are going to be when you fall into the clutches of the "dark tribe"
