About This Chapter
After a few days in the city, Fang is ready to go back to his old life in the underworld. He has pawned his stuff to get a new weapon, and he's ready to head back to the city. But first, he needs to find a way to make money. He's got a job as the administrator of a "hunter's house" , a place where people exchange bounties from killing the undead. Fang asks if he can be a "one star hunter," which basically means that he can buy whatever he wants from the place. The only problem is that Fang doesn't have enough money to buy the weapon he wants, so he can't exchange his old stuff for a new one. The administrator tells him that Fang is already a "qualified one star hunter" and that he'll be able to get his new weapon as a gift from one of his relatives. Fang is all, "Gee, sounds like I'm going to have to kill a bunch of people in order to get this new weapon" . But the administrator says that Fang's already qualified as a "four star hunter." Fang is excited to be a part of this new world. He wants to be the one to kill the undead, but he needs someone to do the job for him. He asks Fang to come with him, and Fang agrees.
