This is a locked chapterChapter 44: A Proud Glory Disciple (Part 2)
About This Chapter
In this chapter, Cai tells us that he is the "superstitious and unpredictable" great man of the Mingxi clan. He says that he must find a "moment of great attention" in order to be recognized as a great man. He tells us about a time when rumors were made that he was the "little turtle," but the crowd quickly dismissed such a rumor. However, he says that there will be "opportunities" for Cai to be called "Master Bai" in the future. Cai says that although many people avoid him, there are exceptions. For example, one of Cai's elders accepted du-lingfei as a disciple because of her "merits" . Later, chen-fei learned that it was her father, the "qian dajin," who was behind the previous incidents and stayed at his doorstep for a month. Cai asks his young master if he can give him some slack. The young master asks Cai to visit him, but Cai says he is not allowed to do so because he is an outer disciple. Cai tells him to be careful when he speaks, for he is a "light of protection slap" and is an "outer disciple" who can be "targeted like that." Cai asks him to meet the young master, but he says he will not meet him if he is "a heavenly pride." He tells Cai to "plow thump" and not to be "shameful." Cai says it is only on "a whim" that he asked Cai to come and visit him.
