About This Chapter
This chapter opens with a description of the Tongtian River, which is said to be the source of all the terrifying clans in the land. The location of this mission is in the Luoxing Mountains, which are the boundary of the spirit stream of the Xuexi clan and the boundaries of the other branch of the river. The only problem, according to the narrator, is that the place they have to go is so far away from the spiritual stones that they are consumed quickly, so it is better to walk more than to go in search of a secret move. He thinks that if he had gone on a secret mission this time, he would not have sent anyone to make the secret move, as he is so enthusiastic. The narrator then tells the story of the double-headed bat, which can dissolve blood in its claws. The bats are poisonous, but they are also purple-striped, and the teeth of the bats are the most important material for making medicine blood. After waiting for an hour, the narrator realizes that the two-headed bats are active at night, and he is afraid that they will not be able to kill them.
