Even a father still wants his cat. In fact, the narrator says, he sent his dad a picture of the cat when he was walking home. He says that he's happy that his dad tried to depend on him. The narrator says that she's so glad that nothing a parent ever did to him happened to him, and that this makes her happy. He asks her if she'll be free tomorrow, and she says yes, but she'd like to go somewhere with him. He kisses her, and her body shivers. She finally gets some self-control, and says that looking forward to the next day makes her shiver even more.
