The next morning, the Governess apologizes for not knowing that she was in the bath. She turns around and tells him that she'll talk to him tomorrow. The Governess is glad to hear that he's not in the bathtub, because it means that he can finally take his "huff" off. He's worried about his mother, who's still awake, and wants to know what he can do to get her to come out of her trance. He wonders if there's any way he can transform himself into something else.
