In this chapter, the Senior Brother recounts the story of how the human race was created. In ancient times, a group of fairies came to the present-day world and called it jiuzhou, which means "new world." The fairies named this new world the "great demon divine tribe" because they feared that the humans inhabiting the new world would kill them. They retreated to their ancestral home, which was called the fairy realm. The Senior Brother explains how the humans were created: they were infused with the blood of the queen, and the queen created the first human race. The entire community of human beings was grateful to the queen for giving them life and wisdom. The great demon tribe, however, was without a leader, and did not expect that the taoists would be waiting for them.
