The monster tells his uncle that the array has been destroyed. He tells him to be sure to catch the woman who destroyed it. The monster says he's not sure who the woman is, but he wants to make sure she's caught. He wants to get out of there ASAP. He can't eat, he says, because the blue needles melted his spirit and suppressed his three immortal souls, seven mortal forms, and the feeling of being powerless. He doesn't want this to happen to him again. His uncle tells him that they'll reach the village after climbing up a little more. He asks if they've found a woman, and she says they're bandits. The uncle tells them to kill the woman. He's worried that the woman's story isn't true, because she seems weak and vulnerable. The brothers tell him to kill her, but the monster refuses to eat the food, saying he needs to replenish his strength.
