In this chapter, the monster explains that he is a bloodthirsty monster. He is so excited that he can barely hear the sound of a sound. He realizes that the spirit is holding a fairy. The monster realizes that it is the same spirit that killed his brother. He asks the spirit if she wants to make a deal with him. The spirit says that she is hungry and wants to eat as many fairy dans as she can. He tells her that he has created the process to improve his cultivation and that the world has been unable to tolerate him. Now, he wants to create a world in which the foolish people will not hunt him down. He offers to share with the spirit the only remaining fairy in the Ming realm.
