The chapter opens with a flashback to the year 2000 , when the humans invaded the fairy realm. The ancestral humans were superior in numbers, and they captured many of the fairy territories. Despite the ancestral humans' numerical advantage, the warriors of the demon divine tribe were able to counterattack. The two sides were at a standstill, and the humans had to pay a "mortal price" in order to maintain their strength. The warriors of both sides were almost killed by the great demon tribe along the road. The elder brother tells the younger brother to leave him while he is seriously injured. He tells the elder brother that the two of them should try to flee separately, that way they will have a better chance of surviving
