The boss of the inn sends his men to clean the place up, but they find no one there to do the job. The sects are too ruthless, the boss says, and the opportunists will be left behind. He tells everyone to prepare for a feast, because he's in a good mood. He's going to treat everyone to "a good meal" , and then he'll go out and kill anyone who tries to get in his way. He says that if he dies in the middle of the road, the sects will "skin us alive" . They'll take him back to them, and they'll kill him when he gets back.
