If they rule the land of the future, they will be able to burn the incense and ask help from the immortal realm. The jade slip and the incense, however, do not mean anything to Lu Xiaoyi, because he does not belong to the heavenly race. He does not say that he belongs to it, but only that he has a weakness. This is a trump card for the sect, because ordinary people will not be frightened by what he has done. He asks if he is interested in becoming a disciple of the sect master.
