This chapter opens with a conversation between a rogue cultivator named Lu Xiaoyi and a senior member of the heavenly spirit sect named Senior . Lu says that he has come to meet the senior members of the sect because he wants to impress the senior . He tells the senior that he is from the sect of heavenly spirit, and that they are all from different sects. He says that the girl he is talking about is from a different sect and that she does not like feng shui at all. He asks the senior why she is leaving him hanging, and the senior replies that she looks elegant and pure, but that she cannot judge books by its cover. Lu asks what brought him to the town, and Senior replies that he knows the town quite well, and he just followed his brother to this place. Lu tells Senior that he and his brother are traveling together, and they should stop acting like little girls. Senior says that they should wait for him, and Lu tells him that if they don't want to wait, they can leave right away. He then tells the girls that they can get lost in the sea and that there is plenty of fish to catch. He also tells them that he wonders how they can be doing in thousands of sects when they are doing so well. The girls are happy to meet Senior, who has finally arrived. They tell him that they have been waiting for him a long time, and when he finally arrives, they are surprised to see him. They say that they do not like him, because he is tarnishing the reputation of the Heavenly Spirit sect. They also say that there are lots of dressed-up clowns among the cultivators, so they should not take him too seriously. They ask the senior if he is afraid of the Heaven's Spirit. The senior says that Lu is more handsome than he is, but he still thinks that the senior is more beautiful. The girl says that she is afraid, because she thinks that he speaks like he can represent the sect.
