The next morning, Lu wakes up and asks if he slept well the night before. He says that he did, but that huan was too good at his job. He tells Lu that he made a promise to defeat the haotians back then, and that this is the beginning of a unified spirit gathering land. Lu wonders why he fell asleep so quickly, and wonders why everyone fawns over him now, even though he was once only his friend. He asks why he hasn't slept well in a long time, and says that his legs have gotten numb from sitting all day. He wonders if he could have put a pillow over his head after falling asleep, but Lu says he didn't mean to tease him.
