The Great Tortoiseshell Master

In this chapter, we are introduced to the world of spirit-gathering land, which is governed by the goddess of heaven. It is a place where lower beings worship, while higher beings are not allowed to do so. There are many sects of spirit, and each sect has its own independent kingdom. In the divine race, there are many masters of the tortoiseshell technique, but only a few survive. Lin Bo, the son of a nobleman, has been sent to the selection for heaven, but he has been robbed twice, once by bandits on their way to heaven, and once again by beggars in the town. He wants to know why heaven did this to him, and why heaven kicked him down. He tells us that he has no money, and that he would have passed the selection if it weren't for the incident with his father.
