He also says that he and Ling'er have grown up together, and there is nothing strange about their feelings for each other, but things have changed. He says that she sees him as her little brother, and she only sees him because she is in love with the qi hao, not because of him. As for howin, he says that his father has taken him for a walk, and has given him some ginger soup, which he'll use to warm himself up. When he gets back to the island, he finds that the righteous people and the cultists have been in a standoff for a month.
