About This Chapter
The monk tries to stop the flow of the mountain stream, but it's too much for him. He can't stand it anymore, and he's going to go help the monk. He's so embarrassed that he doesn't even want to watch the whole thing anymore. Senior starts to cry, too, because she thinks that the monk and the monk's wild dog are just trying to get into a fight with one another. She's also worried that if the monk gets hurt, she'll have to help him, too. She thinks that they're just using numbers, and that they won't be able to stop them. She also thinks that if she helps the monk, he'll get hurt too, and she's just being foolish. Senior says that she didn't think the monk would have such a strong relationship with her, but that's not how she expected it to work out. She says that if you're not that kind of person, why should you help him? The monk is so despicable, she says, that she just wants to run away. Senior and her family are running away, and they don't want to hear about it. The monk and his wild dog have run away, but the monk is still talking to Senior, who's happy to see him back. He tells her that he was so happy when he left the mountain, because he thought that he would never see her again. He says that he feels ashamed of himself for losing to the monk in the tournament. He plans to train even harder to beat the monk again.
