We learn that the plan was to ambush the brats and defeat them one by one, but they were stronger than expected. The brats are the weakest of the bunch, so they're going to have to fight them one on one first. This is a bad idea, because the weakest brat is the one who's going to get sucked in by the kid from the other side of the wall. So, the plan is to ambush them, then defeat them all by one. But then the brat gets sucked in, and the plan doesn't work out. We find out that the brat is running away, and that's why the guys are all freaking out. They're all like, "Hey, what's wrong with you? You're just running away like a coward!" and then they go on to say that they'll catch these brats once they've caught them and hand them over to their master, who can do whatever he likes with them. They also say that the kid who ran away is the same kid who led them to the wraith-canyon and killed him. The guys are so angry that they start calling him an ugly freak, and he's all, "I'll kill you!" and "you, you, you" and so on and so forth. He's got a weird red mark on his sword, and it looks like he got sucked into the "malefic aura" of the guy who attacked him.
