In this chapter, we learn that we're not the only ones who've had to deal with the effects of the apocalypse. We're also the ones who have had to face the consequences of our own actions. For example, when we were a kid, our mom took us to the six-fox cave at fox-fork mountain to visit our grandmother. When they arrived at the cave, they were met by a group of "shameful fiends" . We learn that one of them is a monk named pufang from the temple of tianyin. The monk used a magical weapon called a buddha golden bowl to collapse the cave. Three of us are buried alive underground.
