The chapter opens with a conversation between Senior Lu and Senior Lu's son, Junior Zhang. Senior Lu congratulates his son on escaping from the "black rock cave" . He tells his son that the disciples were worried about him when he couldn't be found. He also tells Senior Lu that he was worried sick when he was unable to find him. He asks Senior Lu if he's going to introduce Bi-Yao to the group. He says that she's a friend of his brother, Senior Zhang, and that they're from a righteous sect called "vajra sect." Senior Lu tells him that Bi-Yose is a member of the same righteous sect as his brother. They've been fighting the "feast cult" lately, and they plan to meet up again on a flowing wave mountain in the east sea. He'd like to know if they've seen anything in the flaming dragon cave or the white fox cave. He doesn't find anything, but he says that he'll report back to the righteous sect now. They also tell him that the fiend cult is active again, so they'll have to go back to their sect soon. They say that the other righteous sect has rallied to fight the fiends again, and the two of them are going to meet on the mountain. They don't want to get caught up in the "fiend cult" again, but Senior Lu wants to go with them, so he leaves. He wants to warn the other disciples not to be caught up by the "cultists."
