The chapter opens with Kim cheol, the landlord of the house where the three vampires live, telling them that he has decided to kick out all of their human roommates. He tells them that Kim is a "dumb and naive enough" man who has stopped tracking his age. Kim says that he can't feed Kim because Kim is 179.3 cm tall and weighs 3.8 kg less than the "minimum weight" to be fed to a vampire. Kim warns them that if Kim doesn't change his ways, they'll have to kick him out forever. They decide to throw in a "nice chubby one" .
