The narrator tells us that he has four older brothers. He's happy to be graduating from college, and he's confident that he won't ever be replaced by a vampire. He tells the narrator to be honest with him about his feelings for his brothers, because they've abandoned him. The narrator can't believe that his brothers would abandon him like that. He says he'll have to find a way to continue this story.
