The narrator tells Kim that he's learned a lot from her. He tells her that she's a bad person if she doesn't tell him that she hates herself. Kim admits that she was in love with Sunjae, but that she couldn't because she was too busy trying to be with someone else. Kim says that she can't blame her for being in love, since everyone else was, too. She tells Kim to get up and go back to her room, but Kim won't let it happen. He's been drinking too much, he says, and Kim is worried about what's going on in the apartment. Kim tells him to go outside and wait for her.
