In this short scene, Sik Yeow-cheol and his assistant, Yon Seong-seung, are waiting outside for Yon Seung's return. Sik asks Yon to tell him why he is doing this, and Yon replies that he is worried about the reputation of the Deputy Prime Minister, who is a member of the First Vice-Premier's faction. He also says that he has suffered a great deal from the censor's orders, and he wants to rest. Yon agrees to investigate the matter, and Sik promises to release Yon once Yon tells him the identity of the person who ordered the attack. When Yon asks if he is okay, Sik replies that Yon-hee has come to him crying, and that he was attacked while he was investigating the Deputy-Prime Minister's reputation. He says he let his guard down, and when he went to the washroom, he was kidnapped and tortured
