About This Chapter
Kim byeong tells Yonhap that he has hired a bodyguard to kill the third-in-command. Yonhap tells him that the bodyguard is the best at his job, and that he will collect the interest together with them. He says that he prefers slaves to money, and he hopes that they will do well. He is worried that someone will die at the Office of Special Advisors, but Yonhap assures him that they are going there to prevent it. He asks Yonhap if he can pass through without permission, and Yonhap replies that he can only do so if he is allowed to do so by the superior, who is always the superior. He then asks if there are two or three horses and more on the road, and is told that there are one, two, three, and five. He wonders why they are there, and wonders if they need permission to use his grandchild's things. He feels jealous of Yonhap's third-ranking government officer, who has been riding on his back all day.
