In this short scene, Sik Yeow-cheol and his assistant, Yon-Hyun, discuss the possibility of escaping from the Ministry of Justice. Sik is worried that the authorities will try to put him on a list of wanted men, but Yon-hyun assures him that he is not on the list. Sik asks Yon-heung if he can pack his luggage and go to the Palace of the Heavenly Kings to see the King. Yon-hyoung tells Sik that the King's kindred official, Jeong-Kang-soo, lives in seclusion, and Sik says that he has seen him with the same woman in the marketplace two nights ago. Sik's suspicions are confirmed when Yon-Heung tells him that all of the other men on the wanted list are dead, and that the problem is that the madam is still meeting new men. Sik agrees to go to Jeung-kang-Soo's house to find out the whereabouts of the woman.
