Mr. Manette is making him come to the theater with him. He wants to see a movie with him, even though he and Manette had an affair. He asks Manette to wait until 9pm at the airport so that he can see the movie. When Manette asks what's going on, Manette tells him that he's wanted to see this movie for a long time. He also tells Manette that the hotel where they stayed was so depressed when they left that morning that he wanted to confirm his own feelings. He slaps himself on the back and says that he no longer loves Manette.
