The scene opens with a flashback to a time when the Governess and her Governess's wife were having an affair. The Governess explains that her wife's health was not good and she had to bring her to her husband in order to care for her. She tells her husband that he is a loser for having sex with his wife and that she is a very beautiful woman. He tells her that he brought her to him in a hurry because his wife was not feeling well. He apologizes for his behavior and says that he will be more attractive if he is more honest with his self. He then tells his wife that he has been in the hot springs for too long and apologizes that he was just "in the hot spring" for a long time. She agrees that he should be more honest in his behavior. She then tells him that she will try to show her husband her "peculiar side" when they return home. He asks her if she is okay and she says that she was just in "the hot spring." She tells him to be more "honest with your self" and he agrees that she should try to be
