The scene opens in a hotel room, where Hiroyuki is away from his wife. Hiroyuki asks his wife how she feels about him, and she replies that she just needs him when she's lonely. She doesn't love him, she says, because he's the only person she needs when she is alone. She tells him that they're just "colleagues" , and that she'll do her best to please her husband. The scene ends with Hiroyuki telling his wife that he'll tell izumi about his divorce soon.
